How do I get sap off my paint?

If it's been on there for awhile and the sun bakes it in, it's probably eaten the clear coat already- called "etching". There are some chemicals out in the market designed specifically for that but if it's been baked in, you will have to clay the area, Polish it down, then wax the area. 3m makes some good stuff but not much but polishing will help if it's etched in.

The top baked, but was still wet underneath, I got it of in 10 seconds with carb cleaner
