Q. How are people registering new TPMS sensors to their vehicles? I understand that some of the OBD II readers are capable of updating the vehicle registry but very few. Anybody know which ones?
I need new tires and have at least one sensor out. Discounts wants $60 per sensor. That's $300 for all 5. They get paid to replace valve stem stems anyway so all they're really doing is editing the vehicle registry for the 5 new sensors. When you can buy them new for $12 ea, that's just robbery. Surely someone knows how to alter the vehicle registry? Thanks!
