Lift w/ 285/70/17's

Without further mods, I wouldn't recommend it. I can barely fit my fingers between the upper control arm and the tire.
 
good idea for wheel spacer but I think its affect the life of the wheel bearing I prefer to have good off-set wheel
 
I spend soooo much building these trucks of mine I don't worry about wheel bearings! That FJ of mine had 2" spacers for 188,000 miles with no bearing problems ! The taco I just bought only has 11/4" spacers.
 
Front hub with a pressed wheel bearing included!
Frame might be replace in March or April. So I'm just getting by with a set of OME front struts and 885 OME springs. I had them from my old FJ they didn't lift it high enough with the 305/75-16 on the FJ. So I installed them in the new Taco with 2" rear blocks , u bolts and longer rear shocks. They give the Taco about 2" of front lift. Tires are new BFG KO's 285/70-17.
