Lug stud

Had New tires put on and they over tightened a lug nut. Now it is spinning in the router any ideas on getting it off without out damaging the rim

If its spinning inside the rotor, that means that it came loose from the hub. It is going to be a nightmare to get that out. You may end up having to replace the hub.

That is gong to be a pain. To get to the hub bolts to replace it you have to get the rotor off, and you can't do that with out taking the tire off. The studs are pressed in and splined so the splines must of stripped off meaning you have to replace the whole hub assembly. I agree that If a shop did this obviously they should be paying for their mistake

From the back side you should be able to stick a pry bar in and pry against it as you tighten it back up with a impact
