Hey Everybody - Just wanted to thank all of you out there that has given me advice, inspiration, and overarching ideas of what to mod on my Truck. I bought my 17 Tacoma 29 days ago and just completed my 25th modification.

For those of you out there that are thinking about what mods to apply to your truck, I hope this list helps you out. I got a lot of insight from Youtube (Tacomaholics - You are awesome - A special thanks for all you do) and the forum.

For all of you seasoned Taco Maniacs - THANK YOU for inspiring me and for all of your chatter on the forum. I really appreciate all of you.

The bed net....does it only attach at the d-rings at the end of the bed?

    That bed mat rocks!

    Thanks for sharing.

The bed mat is one of the most useful $100 you’ll ever spend for your truck.
That looks like an actual Toyota OEM net. I’ve had aftermarket ones in about all my trucks for years. You can pick them up for under $10.

Do you have to add d rings to attach it closer to the cab?

I assume you’re talking about the net.
If you wanted to add it closer to the cab you would have to use the rear D rings or add some.
I always used the adjustable top tie downs in the Tacoma for the top.
In other trucks I’ve had with no adjustable tie downs I always added D rings.

Gotcha! I assume short thread cutters for the mount bolts?

Yeah. You won’t need anything too aggressive for the composite bed.
