Depends on the vehicle. A throttle body spacer on my brothers 99 mustang GT w/ Vortec blower, Mac cat back, intercooler, bigger TB, pulleys, elec WP and a bunch of other goodies..... 18hp proven on before and after dyno runs.
On a Taco with nothing else..... go with the sticker suggestion.

Makes cool noises
If by cool u mean a dumb high pitch whistle that doesnt quite sound like anything besides a tbs, than i agree.
I got an air raid tbs sent to me for ****s and grins long ago for free... i forgot i had it till a couple weeks ago when cleanin my office.
I chucked that piece of **** in the trash..... next thing i knew, there was a loud whistle noise followed by a loud crash. I ran out of the bedroom and seen scorched carpet from the office to the living room.
Thats when it happend, i looked at my front door and there was a hole the exact size and shape of the trashcan right in the bottom of the door.
To this day i have no clue where my trashcan went. I should have gotten it dynoed.
