TPMS install without transponder

I really didn’t know how else to write the title. I have a 2019 sr5. I bought an extra Tpms for the spare wheel. Which I also bought a matching wheel and tire. It sat in the bed of my truck for six months. Then I decided to rotate the spare into the rotation. Both front tires went to the rear. My spare went driver front. Right rear went right front. Left rear in the bed. Every thing was fine no tire light. Then my left rear ( formally left front) shows air pressure loss. But there isn’t any loss. So two things. My truck picked up my spare sensor without any help. So now the truck is going in for a sensor replace and reinstall 2nd , Do Ya think I need to get a technician to get the truck to recognize the sensor(s). My spare will be left at home while I get the sensor replaced that shows low air. Fwiw.

I would think as long as these are all the same brand sensors that were calibrated to the trucks cpu, they should work fine.
