I had a TRD Pro grill on the truck and the TSS was intermittent but worked most of the time. I got a great deal on an Aries Pro Series grill guard but after installing it, the TSS was pretty much useless. I relocated the sensor to behind the "TOYOTA" but that made it worse. Ultimately I removed the TRD grill and reinstalled the honeycomb grill so I didn't have to stare at the orange light all the time.
Has anyone figured out a good way to relocate the sensor to a higher point that allows it t work properly? I know the TSS is a bone of contention for some but it's on the truck so I'd like to get some use out it.
