When to change the timing belt on V6

I just bought a 2010 Tacoma SR5 with 400,000 Kilometres on it and it runs great . When should the timing belt be changed and what does it usually cost at the dealer

when it breaks........just kidding. chains can stretch but there is no set miles or time for change that I know of.

Like TacoKen said, when you have to rebuild the engine, replace something like a blown head gasket or leaking front seal, so you're already in there, then throw in a new chain and gears. Never replace just the chain, buy all 3 as a set, and replace them.
