How often do you park beside another Tacoma….

Gen1s are 'Unicorns' ? or transplants?

how about the Gen2s... are they mostly all about rotted out by now in yer area?
the early ones starting in '05?
Gen1 tacoma's are are about as rare as a hens tooth here. Still seen a number of gen2 tacomas, as many here got new frames. I've heard from others that had gen1 taco's that they took the money rather than a frame replacement. My neighbors brother had a gen1 which needed a frame...toyota gave him 1 1/2 times the book value of his truck. He took the check and, put it toward a new ram. That ram has been long gone, but he bought another one.

I did not know that 01-04 gen1 had that option!

Yeppers, we have snow moving in tonight and tomorrow. Roads just clear of snow pack and ice from the mild weather of late. Guess its time for a fresh batch of snow pack.......expect to see the brine trucks tomorrow.

I'm sure the city is busy filling and mixing in the tanks.

No salt on the roads in Texas! Not like in New England. They salted this morning some kind of teal colored crystals.Crystal Mint not Meth. Lol
Ive seen some pics of nasty rotted that live near the gulf and drive on the beach in Texas

Here in the salt capital of New England, very very gen1 tacomas survived that long. You just never see them anymore. Toyota had a buy back program on those trucks if you chose not to replace the frame. They offered more than the truck's book value according to many,

Parked next to a white 3rd Gen and noticed the "TRD" is replaced by a "TSS". This is new to me as I've only seen this in Texas. A salesman said its a Regional thing so I'm not sure what to make of it. I do know it is not from the factory. Any ideas ?

I did not drive myself to an ER-24/7 care clinic today. I was at the Walmart across the parking lot and saw this 1st Gen 95-96-97 forest green Tacoma and just had to take a picture. It does have a ton of rust on the frame and in the fenders but otherwise in great shape….

UNFREAKINGBELIVABLE !
Corinth, Texas around four o'clock today and spot a 2021 Tacoma Sport VooDoo Blue. Only difference (besides the year) is his has roof rails, bed cover, and different running boards. He has the OEM step-bed too. What are the chances of that ? :)

Met up with this 2018 OffRoad yesterday at the Natatorium and fell in love with the camper shell. I'm not an expert with roof racks but I assume its for an overland camping tent…. Or skies.
