I scratched my head for a bit wondering wtf this air dam on second gens was.
See, now this is comical.Huh? My 06 is a TRD off road and came with it..

You mean the 06 didnt have a front spoiler? How do you keep them on the ground?See, now this is comical.
What is this 2006 air dam?
What wheels do you have? I like them, almost fooled me for trd wheels at first, but a slightly nicer designView attachment 25312 I added a bull bar to mine & kept it on, even though they recommended taking it off & removing it. (side bar: I don't need any info or facts on the bull bar, it's just for looks, matches my step bars, & for my LED lights lol). I had so many people tell me it would look better off, but I think it's just more of a preference thing. I like it on, & I will keep it on until I put on larger tires & it won't fit without rubbing. To each his or her own.
Thanks! they are the stock 17" Maverick wheels from the SE blackout edition. What wheels do you have? I like them, almost fooled me for trd wheels at first, but a slightly nicer design

It's a 1 mpg hit. Not a biggy when feul milage is 18-20mpgLooks better with it? Or without it? For sport and sr5 models. I’m debating on removing it. Heard it affects gas mileage slightly. What y’all think?
They absolutely look better off than on. I was planning on taking mine off till I heard about the slight hit in gas millage, and helping some at higher speeds.
My folks are Florida snow birds, and live about a 2 hour drive from me from October till mid April. I make that drive at least once a week, I follow the flow of traffic which is usually in the mid 80 MPH range.
I may have to take it off in a few weeks when the beach gets more populated, and the sand gets deeper. I'm thinking it will be acting as a plow then. Took this pic on a not very deep day.
