Dipstick

Would it be ok of i heat the dip stick up with a tourch and drop the hook and let it cool down and pull it out? Its about 8 inches down the tube?

Jk, I noticed no one responded, need more details. I would never put a torch in that compartment for any reason, too many wires to singe and burn. I take it that your dipstick is broken off and dropped down in? If so, I believe you can unbolt the tube from the block and push it out.

That could make for an interesting afternoon with a torch around a lot of wiring and flammable vapors/liquids.....
