US-283 runs from Lexington Nebraska to Brady Texas
a distance of 730 miles once the trailHead is reached on US-30

there is NO sign for the end of US-283 where it terminates but this is Brady Texas and its around this town square area on the maps...
finished wheeling the US-283 within the mileage bands, 283862 on the odo upon completion



or perhaps US-283 terminated back at the US-87 junction just outside of town?

Had to wheel it 2+ hours on the dark evening... Took a wrong road on the last leg of the day and went 100 miles out of the way almost to San Antonio

couldn't find anything of much intrest in Del Rio so turning back around and heading west on US-90 in search of Big Bend NP

Had to wheel it almost 3 hours on the dark evening

DAY 4 -- starting in Fort Stockton Texas
destination is Roswell New Mexico after finding the trailHead for US-285 in Sanderson

The border-to-border run continues today

US-285 runs 846 miles from US-90 in Sanderson Texas to south Denver metro at i25
Starting in Fort Stockton Texas and wheeling it north to Roswell NM
after circling back down US-385 to US-90 to find the 285 trailhead in Sanderson Texas... Odometer ought to turn over to 285k miles shortly before the adventure north begins

I've gotten the tacoJuice at this Shell before, back in Nov-2o21 on dayRun from Amarillo
will get it juiced up again here tomorrow before heading further north on US-285





DunkinDs with the alien!... will have to hit it up in the morning before heading to Colorado

Had to wheel it through a 40 mile 1 lane no passing 46mph limit at the border
9+ hours and almost 550 miles

(Roswell to Alamosa)

Might see some snow on the ground today! Haven't seen any snow since day 1 of this border to border taco adventure
