I spent 22 years in the Air Force working on F-4s, F-16s, and EF-111s, but my favorite aircraft is the F-14 Tomcat.

Cannon AFB New Mexico (the armpit of America), 1996-1998.

I stand corrected. Cannon must be the rotten crotch then. Swing em high and spread em low.

But it DID have the first air combat kill in Desert Storm I. Ya. Confirmed. Unarmed. Have ya tell that tale another time. All I can say is 50 feet off the deck at Mach 2 works. [emoji6]
