Seriously folks, anyone with a 4x4 Tacoma should be doing this maintenance themselves and saving over $100 as seen in the video when I actually call a Toyota Stealership for pricing. Enjoy!
Yeah I think alot of people are afraid they are going to break something on their truck. My goal is to prove that ANYONE can do this type of maintenance.I do it every 30K along with the diffs. It isn't hard but you'd be surprised how many people can't do it. Either no knowledge or living situation.

Lol well you can't help stupid sometimes. But then you have a whole lot of people that pulled the tranny oil plug thinking it was the engine oil plug.![]()
That's what I'm hoping. This is easier than an oil change. Nice video too.. Maybe this thread will get the word out and save people some $$
Yeah I have my front skid off since I'm doing my front diff oil change soon. The fill plug on my 2003 front differential is on the front and not the side. Much harder to get to. Have to remove skid plate
Well dang, 1 more thing to add to my to do listSeriously folks, anyone with a 4x4 Tacoma should be doing this maintenance themselves and saving over $100 as seen in the video when I actually call a Toyota Stealership for pricing. Enjoy!

That Ravenol works really well.....alot cheaper than the Toyota OEM oil.Used Redline 75w-85 in the front and rear diffs and Ravenol in the transfer case (also replaced all the crush washers)... easy job!!
