Hey Everyone the dreaded CEL and Trac combo popped on the dash about 2 days ago after a fill-up. Truck runs fine and I’m thinking it’s the gas cap based on my experiences in the past w other Toyota’s. I may not have given enough of a turn. Anyone else agree or should I look into other issues?

Anyone experienced a hard drop to first gear when at a stop? I’ve noticed that after coming to a stop, especially w/ AC on, after a few seconds there’s a hard thunk. My 4Runner did this and it was a flaw in the code for the tranny. I’m assuming it’s the same here. Thanks Everybody

Hey Everyone, I’ve been noticing that when I turn on the air recycling button when using heat, it shuts off on its own after a few mins. Is this normal for this system?

Simple question... I’m at 81k and my mechanics recommend replacing the serpentine belt. I’ve researched and like the Gates Micro V. Do I need the whole kit or just the belt? Is there a good reason to do the kit? Difference in price is substantial.
