Electric Tacoma coming Soon

Every fuel changes will create a new set of problems? Will we be better off with all electric vehicles?
Maybe less carbon , but what about the material that is being mine, how do we dispose all those batteries?

Who and what will we need to power those electric plants ? Nuclear energy? And what about power outages?

The answers are on page 95, 50 years from now, if the earth is still there?

A lot of batteries to dump, a whole electrical grid to upgrade. Hell Californians can’t even run the AC on their houses, now let’s add millions of electrical cars to charge!! How are we going to generate the power? Don’t say wind turbines and solar, we are not there yet! How are people going to charge on the road? Do you really think there are going to be chargers everywhere to just plug in?
Don’t get me wrong, I am all about being a good steward of my planet, but let’s not break what we have until we have a viable solution! Y’all go buy those electric cars. The law supply and demand says my fuel prices will go down once you do. Just don’t be calling me for a ride when there is no electricity available to charge :).

Good point. The first gas power car (patent) 1886 by Benz. Cars driven by gas is over a hundred years now.
As we move to electric power cars a new set of problems will rise. I just learn tires for electric cars are built differently, has more rolling resistance, and maybe $1,000+ for four?
You will need specialized mechanics. Body fender , battery removal shops, batteries will be consider “hazmat” requiring “hazmat specialist “ . All battery power tools, disposal of old power tools require “hazmats requirements “
I use to work for Lowes, and Lowes used to collect old power tool batteries, cost got to high! (Hazmat )

Every cowboy movie you saw, notice there is no horse “poop”. Lol.

My wife's friend just put a new battery in a '15 prius $ 4300.00 !!!!
And have u priced tires for a Tesla? $1100.00 each !!!!

Tesla can use a certain tire, $285 ea. , Michelin tires is use often for the Tesla cars. NO spare on any Tesla cars. Also Tesla recommend to change all the tires every three years , regardless of mileage.

Tacoma electric trucks , the future is near. It might be the right thing to do. If Tesla recommends tire replacement for there cars every three years? Might be the same for all electric vehicles . Including the Tacomas.

They say electric cars wear them quicker cuz the torque chews them up.they are more like runflats with thicker sidewalls and harder tread compounds.
