Black or White

Maybe this already has been asked, but why do so many choose white when they know toyota has had paint issues, and black is so hard to keep clean, plus both are typical lease, or rental car colors? Come on guys, your allowed to respond.

Who knows? just wondering a reason why....I'm not a big fan of either. I like most colors, but sick of seeing white, or silver. They seem the most accident prone to...maybe because of just their numbers? It's the same with these newer gen4 Tacomas. So far I've seen one white, and 2 black ones on the roads here, nothing else. Even the new tundras...mostly white, or silver in dealer lots.

What other colours are available in that gen4

A yellow one might stand out?

I passed a toyota dealer this morning with several gen4 tacos in their yard. The ruby red, and navy blue ones look pretty sharp. Of course they had some silver, or gray ones, and the usual black, and white.

On another note 'I've been getting my doorbell rung with guys, and even a woman last evening if interested in selling my truck. They mainly want it for its taliban tan color, and being an extra cab model with the v6, saying they never saw one before seeing mine.

Personally, I took white for visibility and heat in the summer, even though I know the paint problems. And black is classy, but too hard to keep clean, especially off-road.

I could see white for the heat factor, but just knowing toyota has had so many paint issues with white would make anyone with commonsense stay away from it.
