Yeah, but toyota claims this for normal wear, and tear, which imo can be pretty vague depending who you ask. I would imagine stuff like paint chips wouldn't qualify.Toyota does have, I believe 10 year extended warranty on specific colors
Idk, about white hiding wear, and tear best. I've seen enough whites including my brother hybrid rave4. His white appears a lot dirtier much quicker than the desert sand on my tacoma which never looks dirty, and I have never washed it except hosing excess mud, and salt spray off it during winter months.Honestly, it’s mostly resale and convenience — white hides wear better and stays cooler, black looks sleek — but yep, would be nice to see more people go for the fun colors instead of the “safe” ones!
Yeah, that makes sense. White can look super clean when it’s freshly washed, but it shows dirt, road grime, and scratches faster than earth-tone colors. That desert sand shade on your Tacoma is kind of the perfect “hide everything” color, always looks decent even when it’s been through mud or winter salt. Way less maintenance compared to white.Idk, about white hiding wear, and tear best. I've seen enough whites including my brother hybrid rave4.
